Enrichment Day — Thursday 17 December 2026

Enrichment Day is one of the highlights of our year. Every student takes part, and this December there is more on offer than ever: thirteen day trips across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Bristol and Wiltshire, plus ten activities running here at the academy.

Students can head to Longleat, Paignton Zoo, the Eden Project or Wookey Hole, try karting, skiing, treetop zip wires or indoor climbing, or spend the day at We The Curious, Bodmin Jail, Heligan, the pantomime in Truro or the cinema. Nine of our in-academy activities are completely free.

The full booklet below has everything — what each trip involves, the cost, where they’re going and roughly when they’ll be back.

Booking opens Wednesday 21 October at 5:30pm through the My Child At School (MCAS) app. It’s worth checking you can log in to MCAS before then.

A couple of things to know: prices and timings in the booklet are provisional and will be confirmed in your child’s trip letter, and our two highest-priced trips can be paid for in two instalments. If your family is experiencing financial hardship, please speak to your child’s year team in confidence — no student will miss out because of money.
