Marine Academy Plymouth student, Jake Miller scored the only goal after just five minutes to win the game for the Plymouth side.
Jake fired home from the edge of the area after running beyond the Torbay defence.

Marine Academy Plymouth Football Club has progressed to a fantastic nine finals this season.
Marine Academy Juniors have successfully progressed to three out of the county youth football finals, a fantastic achievement for the club.
In the first semi-final MAP Juniors under 13s beat fellow club team Marine Academy Kings at the clubs home pitch, the Parkway in Ernesettle.
MAP Kings took an early lead, but with only 2 minutes left to play a Josh Farley header from a Billy Stewart corner forced the game into extra time and it was the Juniors who triumphed as Nathan Cole got the deciding goal a minute from time.
MAP Juniors under 14s faced last season’s cup winners; Maldron Youth who are currently top of the Torquay league. Marine Academy Plymouth started the brighter and deservedly took the lead but then had to withstand heavy pressure from the visitors who hit the post in a tense spell. However, MAP settled after they scored their second goal and comfortably went on to win the game 5-1.
The trio of finalists was completed when MAP under 16s travelled away to play fellow Plymouth side SB Frankfort, where a James Fifield goal was enough to separate the two sides in a very competitive match.
The three finals will take place at the Devon Football Association’s headquarters in Newton Abbott at the end of March and in early April. The under 13s will face Exeter side Pinhoe Spartans, the under 14s will play Sidmouth Town and the under 16s will pit their wits against Tiverton Town.
Marine Academy organises a comprehensive football programme, offering sessions for players from ages 4 -5 in its introduction to football programme.
