Table Tennis:
Table Tennis is now available at Marine Academy Plymouth’s Community Sports Complex, providing a fun opportunity that the whole community can get involved in.
- Tables can be booked in advance or participants can just turn up. We will organise coaching with qualified coaches and fun, competitive games.
- Sessions are for all ages and ability levels.
- First session is Friday 7th June 2013.
- Fridays: 5:15pm – 6:30pm.
(Equipment is available to hire if needed.)
Cheerleading:
Beginners sessions run by Plymouth’s ‘Elite Cheerleading’ coaches
- Fridays from 5.30pm - 6.30pm (First Session on Friday 8th Feb)
- Age: 9-16 years
- Price £3.50
Trampolining:
Beginners welcome, these sessions provide pathways into the ‘Twisters’ training squad.
- Saturday from 10.30am - 4.40pm (First Session on Saturday 2nd February)
- Age: 6- 16 years

Roller Disco:
Family Roller Discos are back on the winter timetable with Discos on Saturday;
- 9th March
Doors open at 1pm with the fun commencing at 1.30pm until 3.30pm. Skates are available to hire.
Netball:
Our own adult netball club welcomes new members (from age 15) to attend coaching sessions at the Academy. The Marine Academy Plymouth Netball Club is amongst the largest in the Plymouth and District league with 6 sides competing.
This friendly club also organises a host of social events.

Street Games – Basketball
In partnership with Plymouth Sports Academy, we are offering the opportunity for young adults aged between 14 and 17 to come to along and play Basketball FREE of charge.
- Wednesdays from 8.15pm until 9.15pm
Tiny Trys
In Partnership with Plymouth Sports Academy Tiny Trys provides opportunity for children from age 3 to take part in learning the basics of rugby that prepare young players for guppies and mini rugby.
- Saturdays from 9.15am until 10.15am
- Age: 3-7

Zumba
The latest fitness craze is at MAP! Zumba workout provides long-term fitness benefits through fun, exhilarating high calorie burning classes with simple Latin and Urban dance moves. Sculpt and tone your body while burning fat. You have to try it, everyone’s talking about it!
- Mondays and Tuesdays from 7 until 8pm
Remote Control Clubs
Cars
New members are welcome. Come up and take a look.
- Our car club meets every second Sunday from 10am until 5pm
We also host the southwest leg of the national finals on 22nd and 23rd January. This is a great event to watch!
Flying
An array of helicopters, planes and other weird and wonderful flying machines. New members are very welcome.
- The Flying Club meets every Monday from 8pm until 9.30pm
